Raise awareness and advocacy of the destination in a new, Portland way. 

 

Black Diamond planned and managed a 3-week long consumer experiential campaign, ‘You Can in Portland’ on behalf of Travel Portland. Working with partners such as Delta Air Lines, Travel Oregon and the Port of Portland, Black Diamond delivered a multifaceted experiential campaign that pulled together a pop-up shop selling handcrafted Portland goods and a series of events including free vegan tattoos, all supported by a 360 degree communication plan which included an exclusive Time Out partnership.

Bring Portland to the UK. Black Diamond planned and delivered a multifaceted experiential campaign over three weeks in East London to connect Travel Portland with their London audiences. Working with partners such as Delta Air Lines, Travel Oregon and the Port of Portland, Black Diamond built “You Can In Portland” campaign that consisted of a pop-up shop selling handcrafted Portland goods and a series of events including free vegan tattoos, DJ sets, live comedy, spirit tasting and digital art workshops all supported by a 360 degree communication plan which included an exclusive Time Out partnership.

 

Worked closely with Delta Air Lines to raise awareness of the inaugural direct flight from LHR to PDX, a unique cycling competition was live instore on opening day to encourage visitors to “cycle” the distance to be in with the chance of winning a pair of return tickets.
