Working on behalf of destination clients, Black Diamond connected luxury swimwear brand Heidi Klein with four California DMOs (Greater Palm Springs, Huntington Beach, Santa Barbara and San Diego) to create a special California Collection for their Resort Line drop.
Black Diamond created, wrote and designed a glossy California Collection POS marketing booklet for Heidi Klein customers and hosted a high-end in-store event for travel, lifestyle and fashion media.
A high-end digital influencer trip for five took place in destination to discover the inspiration behind the collection. The trip was undertaken as a media fam and the influencers did not receive cash payment.
As a result of the influencers, social media coverage included 200 posts, 1.2 million likes, nearly 6,000 comments and a total of 5.5 million followers.
