November 2009 Warren Miller’s Dynasty ski and snowboard film, brought to the UK by Black Diamond, will be touring more than 40 towns around the UK from November 2009 to mid January 2010.
The ski and snowboard film tour, considered by many winter sports enthusiasts as the beginning of the season, kicked off in Bristol on 2 November and the UK gala premiere is showing at Vue West End, London on Thursday 12 November.
Filmed in striking high definition Dynasty highlights the old, the new and the unknown…the steep, the deep and the unthinkable. Celebrating 60 years of filmmaking and hosted and narrated by Jonny Moseley, Olympic gold medal skier, Dynasty travels from Lake Tahoe, the Midwest, Colorado and Alaska, to Norway and China in search of the past, present and future of winter sports.

Two representatives from Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau recently visited London for a day of media appointments, key MICE industry meetings and an exclusive dinner at Babylon at Kensington Roof Gardens for their top producing leisure tour operators. Santa Monica is invested in the UK market and while have always been a popular choice for the UK visitors to the Los Angeles area they are also keen to promote their business and corporate travel opportunities and push themselves as the premier west coast destination for meetings and incentive travel. |

Mammoth Lakes and Mountain along with North Lake Tahoe and the Resort at Squaw Creek recently came to the UK for a week of sales calls to the meet up with the key US ski tour operators and update them on the latest and greatest of the California Mountains. Not only did the teams meet with the product departments for a discussion of sales and new marketing messages but they also visited key call centres for ski sales message trainings so those who sell California ski holidays had all the right tools to effectively promote California ski. |
